My Famous WINE SMOOTHIES and a little of their backstory

This is tonight's smoothie, something I am famous for and if you try it you will SOOOO die (in a good way)

I make them too much, too many calories. But screw it. 

It will be my snack to hold me over till Boyfriend gets home.

This one has 1 Banana, 1 Cup Frozen Strawberries, 2 cups raw Kale, one scoop vanilla protein powder, 1 Vitamin C + Energy Flavor stick thingy, oh..some raw BABY CARROTS too. and more MERLOT than usual. (it's been a long day)

And ice. I always forget the ice. 

Literally.

I drink it out of my tankard cups. And I use the Ninja blender (this is a whole nother story ... I got this blender for next to nothing a few months back by ordering online, using coupons and picking it up in store. I paid about $35 for the best blender I've ever used. It came with a food processor attachment, which have yet to use. No, I am not a paid endorser. I wish!)

So go make yourself one, let me know how delicious it is (you can use all kindsof substitutes, just think of things that would taste good together. I will give you more ideas in another post)

A Text I sent My BF Today

This is just a sweet little text I sent to the love of my life, Eric a little while ago:

You're my rock. I adore you! You've shown me so much unselfish love like I have never experienced before. You make me want to be a better person. I love you. Just wanted to tell you <3

Wouldn't you love to receive a text like that?
A lot of times we forget to tell the most important people in our lives how we feel about them.

I was unable to say goodbye to my dad when he died in a tragic accident, so I always want to make sure that I share the love with my peeps and strangers, because you never know when, in the blink of an eye, they could be taken away from you.

Sorry to turn that from sweet to sad

Let Me Tell You About my FitBit

I have a FitBit. Yes, I am one of those. If you are unfamiliar with the fit bits, they are a little bracelet that you wear and it tracks your activity and sleep, you sync it with your phone or computer and log your food, water intake, etc.

I only got it because there was an amazing sale from Kohl's over Black Friday weekend. The original price was $99.99. I added a $2 clearance tank top to make sure i get my $30 Kohl's cash ($15 for every 50 you spend) and it came with a $25 Visa rebate card. So I now have my fancy FitBit and $55 to spend at Kohl's. (If I shop online, I get 6% cash back through ebates) but I'm thinking I need some retail therapy after this crappy day I've had, so I might just go shopping at Kohls for free. I just might!

Yes, I'm an Avon Rep

I recently signed up to be an AVON representative. I am learning that this is a VERY confusing business! It took me over a week to find out the information I needed, which was how much commission do I receive on an online order placed by a customer. I had to hunt every single inch of that website.

But I am slowly learning the biz and am going to be taking it slow at first. I think I will let the online ordering handle itself for a while until I am more familiar and confident with it.

I am also a consultant for Thirty-One and their business operation is super simple and colorful and cute and makes me excited. To me, it seems like Avon is almost an outdated sales opportunity.

What do you think?

The Typical First Post

Ah, here we have it. the typical first post of a new blog. I have a gazillion blogs and not one of them is *personal* for me to talk about my thoughts and ideas and share some possibly inappropriate cat photos. This will be updated with whatever's going on in my head, whether it be a video, a link to something awesome, a good deal shared from my other website www.awesomeshopper.org among other things.
I have nothing to say here because I am about to go work on the layout for this blog. Enjoy!
